July, 25 1997 - Uxmal

I recall this day being hotter than any other day I have ever lived through. The VM Bug we had rented didn't have an air conditioner and had small windows (very little breeze came in). To top it all off, it rains. So not only were we drenched from sweat, but now we were drenched from the Heavens.

There are a couple pictures of some of the sites we saw on the way to Uxmal. We got pretty lost on the way there but that gave us a really good opportunity to see other parts of the area that we wouldn't have otherwise seen.
